Photography-first, not event makeup
Professional imagery is unforgiving. Studio lighting flattens the face, high-resolution sensors register texture, and retouching cannot rescue a base that has separated by the third setup. Business makeup is therefore built around the camera: skin evened without being masked, shine controlled where lights hit hardest, and definition added exactly where the lens removes it.
The brief is credibility. You should be recognisable in the boardroom the day after the shoot, which means colour stays close to your own and the finish stays natural.

How to prepare for a headshot session
Arrive with clean, moisturised skin and hair already styled or ready to be styled. Bring the top you intend to be photographed in so the makeup can be balanced against its colour. If you wear glasses in your professional photographs, bring them, anti-reflective lenses and matte skin need to be considered together.

Can you do makeup for a whole team on one day?
Yes. Team bookings are scheduled around the photographer's running order. Share the number of people and the shoot schedule in your inquiry.
Will the makeup look heavy in person?
No. Business makeup is calibrated for the camera while remaining natural in the room — the goal is that colleagues recognise the person in the photograph immediately.
Do men book professional makeup?
Yes. Grooming and shine control for headshots and video is a routine part of professional shoots.
